Campbellford DHS Family of Schools Accommodation Concepts 

To help balance enrolment, school board administration is recommending adjustments within the Campbellford District High School Family of Schools, specifically boundary adjustments and/or changes to grade cohorts at Kent Public School and Hillcrest Public School in Campbellford.   

The two concepts being proposed and considered for Kent Public School and Hillcrest Public School in Campbellford are:   

Concept A (effective September 2026)   

• Kent PS becomes Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 6   

• Kent PS Grades 7 and 8 attend Hillcrest PS (Students in Grade 8 as of September 2026 would remain at Kent PS).     

 Concept B (effective September 2026)   

• Boundary adjustment between Kent PS and Hillcrest PS, K – 6 (Individual students affected in Grade 7 and 8 as of September 2026 would not be moved).
